Who it is for

Communities & fan sites

Give visitors a place to talk the moment they land on your page. Guest entry means nobody has to register to say hello — accounts come later if they stick around.

Streamers & creators

Chat on your own domain, not somebody else's platform. Points, ranks and voice rooms make regulars feel at home.

Businesses & support

A moderated live channel for customers, with an audit trail of every moderation action and full control over who can post.

Blogs & forums

Drop the room under a post or in a sidebar. If you already use WordPress, Sngine, Wowonder or XenForo, members can sign in with one account on both sides.

Running ChatSocket alongside CodyChat?

Many owners run both: a self-hosted CodyChat for full control, and a hosted ChatSocket room for quick, zero-maintenance community chat.

ChatSocket FAQ

What is ChatSocket?

ChatSocket is a hosted chat room platform. You create a room in its control panel and embed it on your website with one line of markup — the messaging, storage, moderation and updates all run on their servers.

Do I need coding or hosting?

No. If you can paste an iframe into a page, you can run a ChatSocket room. There is nothing to install on your server and no software to update.

Is there really a free trial?

Yes — every new room opens with 7 days of the Basic plan free of charge, no card details needed. When the trial ends the room pauses rather than deletes; paying reopens it instantly.

Can it use my own domain?

You embed the room on your own website, so visitors stay on your domain. Premium plans run up to 15 rooms, each on its own domain.

How is it different from a self-hosted script like CodyChat?

CodyChat gives you the code and you run it on your own server. ChatSocket is the opposite: they host everything and you just paste one embed. See our full comparison.

Is there a live demo?

Yes — open the public demo room to try the interface before signing up.
