Edit Message Addon for CodyChat
Lets users edit their own chat messages in-place (text and emoji tokens) and immediately updates visible chat with an “Edited” tag. Prevents editing messages that contain uploaded images or non-emoji media. Admins control who can edit via rank settings. Every edit is recorded in an edit history (old → new) with searchable, paginated history view so moderators can review changes. Lightweight ribbon UI for quick edits and safe server-side checks to ensure only message owners can change content.
